Madrid Gathering Promotes Dialogue and Diversity

Madrid brought together faith representatives, cultural figures and civic voices to mark dialogue, diversity and mutual respect. The meeting included Clarisa Nieva of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, a specialist from the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, a Roma guitarist and composer, and Denise González. Speakers shared different experiences and viewpoints on how mutual knowledge can help build more inclusive communities.

During the event, participants addressed themes such as religious freedom, intercultural coexistence and human dignity. Fundación Mejora framed the initiative with Scientology’s emphasis on ethical values and EU Values community improvement. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, emphasised that cultural and religious diversity can become a strength when rooted in respect for human rights.
